Sunart and District Agricultural Society
The Sunart and District Agricultural Society (SADAS)
The Society was formed in 1950 for the purpose of bringing together the farming and crofting community by hosting events during the year. The organisation’s purpose is to advance heritage and culture by promoting and demonstrating agriculture, handicrafts and other rural based industries and crafts, within the parishes of Moidart, Ardnamurchan, Ardgour, Arisaig, Sunart, and Morvern, Mallaig, Morar, and Island of Mull.
The events are open to all and are popular with both farmers and crofters as well as the local community and visitors to the area. The biggest and most popular event is the Sunart Show in August with several other fund raisers during the year. SADAS is a registered charity and all funds raised go towards hosting the show in August. We are also indebted to the individuals and businesses who sponsor us on show day and at our other events. Thank you.
